Blabla's off is so in

Que serait la Biennale de la Photo de Bamako sans le Blabla, LE bar des photographes ? On y cause, on y boit, on y cause, on y mange, on y cause, on y cause on y cause... jusqu'au petit matin.

What would the Bamako Photography Biennial  be without  the Blabla, THE photographers' favorite bar ? There they talk, they drink, they talk, they eat, they talk, they talk.. until the following morning.

Dans la partie 'Beyrouth', on découvre la proposition off du Blabla avec une belle installation photo de la piscine olympique de Bamako par François-Xavier Gbré, présent aussi dans la sélection officielle au Musée du Mali.

In the 'Beyrouth' part, the Blabla presents an interesting  photo installation of the Bamako swimming pool made by François-Xavier Gbré whose work is also part of the official selection at the Mali Museum.

Et tous les soirs vers 22h, on s'installle pour la projection. Pour l'ouverture de la Biennale, Eric Chesnais a montré ses taxis. De Shanghaï à Mexico en passant par Moscou, on a voyagé au gré de ces objets urbains si familiers et pourtant si différents d'une ville à l'autre.
Every evening around 22 pm, people get ready for the projection. For the Biennial opening, Eric Chesnais showed his taxis. From Shanghai to Mexico via Moscow, we travelled with these urban objects that are so familiar and so different though.
